This is a vintage mid century pipe holder. It holds 2 standard sized pipes. I do not know the type of wood. It is a lovely piece and in excellent condition. I replaced the little feet with rubber ones after I took the photos. It is a nice solid heavy piece.
It is 5 1/2" long, 2 7/8" high, more or less.
It is as I found it and has not been polished.
