These bowls are in excellent condition. They are typical of other bowls I have that are marked Italy, however, these could be from Mexico. I have no way of knowing. They belonged to my grandmother and she was from Puerto Rico.
There are no cracks and all the imperfections are by design. There are two tiny nicks on the large bowl. One inside and one on the rim and are not noticeable unless you are looking for them.
These are recommended for display only. If you want to use for food, use them for dry foods like chips or candy, since this clay has been minimally fired and probably contains lead.
The large one measures 6 1/2" in diameter and the smaller one is 5" in diameter`
These will ship by the most economical transport.
